Call it the effect of the reaction of the common people on not going to the Pran Pratistha ceremony in the Ram temple or the decision of one’s own conscience, along with the ministers and MLAs of the BJP government, BSP, RLD and Congress MLAs also participated in the court of Ram Lalla on Sunday. However, Samajwadi Party still maintained this distance.
Presidents of all the political parties of the country were also invited for the Pran Pratistha ceremony on behalf of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. Congress had refused to go, calling it a program of BJP. Samajwadi Party also distanced itself. Then RLD, which was part of the India alliance, had also distanced itself.
No one from BSP also attended the function. The Yogi government not only made an issue of the non-participation of leaders of opposition parties in the function, but as a strategy, during the budget session, all the MLAs of the Assembly visited Ayodhya together.
Analysts say that before the Lok Sabha elections, to give a message to the people of the state, a program of Ramlala darshan of MLAs along with government ministers was organized and all parties were invited as part of a concrete strategy. The message was clear that the parties which do not come together will be put in the dock in the public court.
